Here are some suggestions.
1. Bulletin boards. Go to your local college and search out the bulletin boards. Many students need someone to type their term papers and put up small notices.
2. Craigslist. This is a terrific place to find typing work. You can either advertise your services or search for people who are seeking someone to help them with their typing needs.
It can either be traditional typing or perhaps they need someone for data entry. Either way there are many options for job leads here.
3. Other sites like eLance. There are many sites where people advertise their online skills.
You can place ads in many of them for free. Or check out some forums pertaining to part time work.
4. Avoid the scams. Be careful because there are many sites which advertise that they are seeking people to do typing and they will pay you lots of money.
Certainly many of them are legitimate but be careful because a lot of them require you to pay a large upfront fee for their “services” and then never get you any work.
5. Ask friends and family. Let people know what you want to do and ask them for assistance and leads. You’d be surprised at what can happen.
There are many ways which you can make money from home by typing. As I said, data entry is a popular means but simply being able to type someones term paper, resume, or helping to create ads for local businesses are other viable ways.
Be creative and you’ll be sure to find good work for extra income.
